Dr. Ian Fraser retired in 2023 as Director of Education, Year II. Fraser taught PH 1101 - Intermediary Metabolism. After earning an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and a Master's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Western Ontario, he completed a PhD in Biochemistry at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was Assistant Professor (Research) at Memorial University of Newfoundland, and later Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, filling a one-year sabbatical replacement. He was hired by CMCC in 1984. Dr. Fraser's research interests focus on education. Dr. Fraser is a recipient of the WD Peek Teaching Award.
