“In what ways do you interact with other health professionals?”

I sometimes spend time with orthopedic surgeons in hospitals performing triage.  I have worked in the Dominican Republic where I have presented to other health care professionals and worked easily within their health care system.  I have had medical students shadow me and my clinical groups at Sherbourne and St. Michael’s Hospital (as a resource).

I have joined in outreach missions with dentists and oromaxillofacial surgeons in Guatemala where we worked together treating patients and treating the dentists, and in Dominican Republic where medical students help our group see patients and connect them back to their health care system when necessary.
