Force Sensing Table Technology
CMCC’s Treatment Skills Development Laboratory houses CMCC’s Force Sensing Table Technology, used to measure force in three different directions along the XYZ axis (anterposterior, lateral and axial).
Created by Dr. John J. Triano, the force sensing tables have the capacity to pick up rotation around each direction, reflecting the intensity, direction and speed of an adjustment.
Within CMCC’s laboratory, the tables are used with thoracic adult analogs on which students can practice manipulations. A delayed video feedback system provides students the opportunity to visualize adjustments.
