Lasting Friendships. Community Spirit. Sports and Culture.
CMCC students are invited to get involved in many extra-curricular activities and a wide range of sports teams while at CMCC. Recreational facilities available to students on campus include fully equipped exercise and training rooms, a large multipurpose gymnasium, a swimming pool and the student lounge. On campus special interest clubs encourage self-development, social responsibility, environmental awareness, and support faith and culture.
Orientation events inspire friendships that last a lifetime and year round events include barbeques, pub nights, athletic intramurals – even an annual student talent show.
Students' Council acts as a liaison among students, administration and faculty, and coordinates the many social and athletic programs and clubs. The Student Canadian Chiropractic Association (SCCA) is the voice of Canadian chiropractic students to organizations such as the Canadian Chiropractic Association. The World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) organizes presentations for those interested in practicing chiropractic in other countries.
Students’ Council’s has arranged a host of chiropractic related clubs to explore chiropractic issues and techniques with visiting experts in a casual environment. The recreationally minded enjoy everything from outdoor adventure to the ultimate frisbee club (to name a few), not to mention CMCC’s sports teams including volleyball, basketball, hockey and floor hockey.
