The Honourable Deb Matthews, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, attended the inauguration of the UOIT-CMCC Centre for the Study of Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation, a joint research initiative between the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and CMCC. Read more here

Legendary chiropractor and longstanding member of CMCC faculty, Dr. Herbert Lee, passes on - October 4, 2012

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Herbert Lee at 101 years of age, a month away from his 102nd birthday on November 5. Dr. Lee was the longest lived and last surviving founder of CMCC. He passed peacefully in Toronto on October 3, 2012. Read more here 

Prestigious grant supports ground-breaking research at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College - September 5, 2012
The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded a major research grant to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in support of its study of spinal manipulative therapy. This is the largest grant CMCC has received from NIH, with over $933,665.00 invested in chiropractic clinical research.

It is the third grant in the past five years that CMCC has received. The two previous grants were being funded in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Read more here

CMCC and UOIT create new professional pathway for students - February 1, 2012
CMCC has reached an articulation agreement with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). The bridging program means that between the two institutions, it will take students seven years instead of the usual eight to complete both an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.

The first applications for the program are being accepted this fall. Read more here
