Backs in Motion is the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College’s annual 10km Run and 5km Run/Walk - and this year is OUR 41st ANNIVERSARY! We hope you join us in celebrating this accomplishment by participating, fundraising, and/or sponsoring. We look forward to raising significant funds with your help, in support of chiropractic education, research, and patient care at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College!
We are so happy to be back at the beautiful trails of the East Don Parklands, offering a chance to experience the river, valley and untouched natural environment! CMCC is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that receives no direct government funding and relies on events such as Backs in Motion for support.
Backs in Motion is unlike any other event! We host an incredibly diverse mix of participants from running clubs to just recreational runners or those who want to better their personal time. We have seasoned runners in their senior years and youngsters participating for the first time!
We are also family friendly - multiple members from the same family participate year after year, and of course dogs can participate in our 5km walk! CMCC students, employees and their families, chiropractors, patients, corporate supporters and the general public are all welcomed. This is truly a community event!
Funds raised at Backs in Motion support the continued development of CMCC’s chiropractic program, help to increase research initiatives and allow the expansion of diverse clinical care experiences!
